• Doctor's orders: This interface is conceived to match the commands directed by a doctor throughout his/her visit to the hospital, and its working is as follows:

 

1. Select the patient by pressing its name.
2. The doctor can lead orders to the nurses according to the preferred entry method that are:

• Directly inserting using the keyboard
• Using the electronic pen by writing the text and insert orders in the medical field.
• Using the electronic pen and insert the text as a stored image of even writing the doctor

1. To generate medical orders, we should follow these steps:

• If you use the electronic pen after writing you select FILE SELECT button to transform the text in an image, the system will automatically deposit it on the screen with the possibility of deleting but if registration occurs and the interface is closed, we can’t delete or modify medical orders but just can add comments.
• If you use the electronic pen and you want to keep the text after writing, place the cursor in the writing position in the interface of medical orders, give the transfer order from electronic pen system to 'ECHAFI system interface.
• Use the ADD button to add more text and a CLEAR button to remove the content.
• The doctor can review patient information such as room number, bed number and ID.
