Emergency:

Through this screen, the doctor in emergency cases can add in the patient directly to the system, and the steps to add patient are as follows:

 

  1. To put the basic patient data which include the name in Arabic and English, the name of the mother, it is also better to insert the date of birth, sex, blood type, with the need to adhere what follows:
  2. After done inserting data press on the ADD button.
  3. To request basic operations needed by the physician to result in an accurate diagnosis and through the following:
  • Request medical analysis: here, the doctor has the ability to request analysis by selecting the patient at first and then pressing on the button LAB. Therefore, the interface associated to the emergency part appears and he/she can add analysis to the patient by pressing on the ADD button and a list that contains the analysis already registered in the system shows-up and he/she selects appropriate analysis and in the end he presses on the SEND TO LIBRARY button therefore the analysis requests reach directly to the laboratory. Once the analysis is complete, they will be returned to the doctor and he/she can consult them through the selection of analysis and pressing the button VIEWRESULTS. Note that the analyses shown are those that are required in this visit and not all analyzes.

 

  • Request X-rays and Radiology: the system allows requesting different types of radio as picture RAY ST SCAN MRI ECG through the pressing on the ADD button and identification of the set and then the choice of the appropriate analysis after that clicking on the ADD button and finally pressing on the SEND TO RADIOLOGY button. The doctor can see the results immediately on completion of examinations.

 

  • Transfer the patient to inpatient ward: this interface gives the opportunity to transfer the patient to inpatient ward by first selecting the patient, and then pressing on the TO LOADING button and an interface dedicated to the admission of patients appears, the doctor selects the service then types his/her notes and finally presses on the ADMISION button.

 

  • Request diagnosis using medical devices: The doctor can here insert a diagnosis using medical devices such as ultrasound and others. To achieve this diagnosis, the doctor selects the patient, presses on DEVICES button to select the type required of device and subsequently write the appropriate diagnosis in assigned block (NOTE DOCTOR).We can also review previous diagnoses through the option IN THIS VISIT LAST DEVICES And finally presses on the SAVE button.

 

  • Request blood from the blood bank: the emergency doctor can request a blood transfusion to a patient from the blood bank through the following steps:

 

  1. To determine the patient who need blood transfusion.
  2. To click on the BLOOD BANK button.
  3. To choose the blood type to transfer to the patient.
  4. To identify the bag size (150, 250, 350).
  5. To determine the number of bags.
  6. If we have an urgent situation, we must check the URGENT box.
  7. To write a message to the laboratory.
  8. To press on the SEND TO THE BLOOD BANK button.

In reaching at this interface, only the blood reservation request will be available by specifying the criteria and the bank reply the demand.

  • transfer of the patient to the morgue: in cases of death occurring in the Emergency service, the deceased will be transferred  to the morgue all through the following:
  1. To identify the deceased patient.
  2. To insert the cause of death.
  3. To press on the Save button.
  • Transmitting a patient to another hospital: if the hospital or clinic cannot treat the patient, he/she will be transferred to another hospital or clinic and the transfer procedure is as follows:

 

  1. To select the patient to be transferred.
  2. To press on the TRANSFER button.
  3. To identify the hospital or clinic where it will be transferred.
  4. To put the data of patient.
  5. To insert the doctor notes.
  6. To press on the TRANSFER button.
  7. The patient can get his entire medical file on a CD.
  • The patient's medical history: in this interface, we found the  patient's medical history with all the details, it includes the following:

  1. Everything about the admission of the patient.
  2. All analysis done for the patient.
  3. All radiological examinations that are conducted for the patient.
  4. All surgeries.
  5. Dialysis operations.
  6. If there is a woman, everything related to childbirth is included.
  7. We can distinct between a visit and another through the date and the visit number.
